The Vic High Sharks Improv Club welcomes the world-renowned improv accompanist Laura Hall (Whose Line Is It Anyway) and veteran improviser and television actor Rick Hall (KC Undercover, Curb Your Enthusiasm) for a showcase of musical improv featuring the Vic High Improv Club as cast! Join us as our improvisers show off the skills they learning from a 3-hour workshop with Laura & Rick they attended the same day! In addition, we're having a silent auction to raise additional funds to cover the workshop & show cost. We've raised over $470 (up from $420!!) so far and need to raise an additional $900. Vic High Sharks open the Impro LightBox run at the METRO Studio!

Our very own Vic High Sharks are opening the run of Impro LightBox at the METRO Studio, on Wednesday, October 9th!! Impro LightBoX is an innovative and original concept imagined by Franck BuzZ (France) in which the lighting atmospheres (created in light and video), randomly associated with soundscapes, are the starting point of each new scene. The actors discover these atmospheres at the same time as the audience, and embark on a variety of unexpected stories. It is a real theatrical playground where everyone can give free rein to their talent and creativity. It's beautiful, spectacular, poetic and funny. Come take it in full! This amazing opportunity was made possible by Imaginary Table Theatre , who is bringing the creator of the format, professional improviser Franck Buzz all the way over from France !! Vic High Sharks present the Vic High Piece!

Right before your eyes, the characters emerge, their likes & dislikes - who knows what could happen! It'll be lots of fun and the team looks forward to seeing you in the audience. Vic High Sharks present "VicGOREia", an improvised murder mystery!

We won't know until the end when the remaining members meet to figure it out! None of the improvisers know who the murderer is (besides the murderer....), and neither do they know who will be the victim each night! Vic High Improv Presents... Black Eyed Blonde

It's been great year so come join us for the year-end performance before summer takes over our collective lives! Both the juniors and the seniors will be performing this evening - so bring your friends and support improv at Vic High! Our seniors are presenting a film-noir inspired piece called "Black Eyed Blonde" which is the brain child of Randy Dixon of Unexpected Productions (Seattle, WA). In Black Eyed Blonde, the stories will be improvised from audience suggestions in the style of 40's Film Noir classics, such as Double Indemnity, Sunset Boulevard and Maltese Falcon. Date: Tuesday, May 16, 2017 Time: 7:30pm (doors 7pm) It's just $5 cash (at the door) to get in!  Doors open at 7pm Show starts at 7:30pm and runs until 9:30pm (one 15-minute intermission). Tickets are only available at the door. The Victoria Event Centre is located at 1415 Broad Street , right across from CTV Vancouver Island and a stone's throw from City Hall.

Canadian Improv Games season kicks off with the Exhibition Rounds on Thursday, November 10 at Esquimalt High!

The Vic High improv teams will be performing at the Canadian Improv Games (CIG) Exhibition Rounds on Thursday, November 10 at the Esquimalt High School. Tickets are just $5! This is the kick off of the CIG season here on Vancouver Island. Teams will be doing a mock competition in three of the five CIG events. Come and see the teams from the South Island Zone show their stuff on stage!
